BBQ TRUCK CATERING

What is a catered event?
A catered event is a pre-paid private party. We will do almost any type of event, but we tend to get asked to cater corporate functions, birthday parties, weddings, studio events etc.

What kind of catering do we offer?
The Smokehouse truck offers 2 types of catering. Our "Standard" truck catering and "Full Service" catering.

STANDARD TRUCK CATERING

For a Standard Truck Catered event we offer four price options using our current truck menu. To see the menu click here. Prices are per person and include up to 2 hours of service. An additional hour may be added to any price package for $2 per person.

Standard Truck Catering PRICING per person:
$10 - Choose any sandwhich + any 1 side
$13 - Choose any sandwhich + any 1 side + dessert "or" drink
$15 - Choose any sandwhich + any 1 side + dessert + drink
$20 - Unlimited food and drink

Additional 15% service charge will be added to the total bill

Details:
- Pricing is for 2 hr. service, pre-paid
- May have additional travel cost if outside the Los Angeles area
- For obvious reasons there are no "to go's" for the unlimited package
- You are responsible for making sure we can park the truck at your event.

FULL SERVICE TRUCK CATERING

Full service truck catering expands your options by making available our entire catering menu. Click here for the catering menu. Full service catering can include cooking onsite, setting up a buffet and service personel.

Pricing for full service truck catering depends on the menu, type of service, length of event and number of guests. But a typical full service catered event is 250+ guests and typically costs $14-$20 per person.

Is there a minimum to bring out the truck for a catered event?
M-Thurs = $1000.00
Fri, Sat, Sun = $1500.00

Where can the truck go?
Guaranteed Parking - Client must verify that we are allowed to park at the event location site. If, for any reason, the Smokehouse truck is unable to park at the event, all deposits for the event, in full, will be retained by the Smokehouse truck, trucks cannot drive up hills with a 30% grade or higher.

TRUCK DIMENSIONS (general dimensions: trucks vary, please see below for clearance needed): length: 25' height: 14' (open top), 12.5' (closed top) width: 13.5' (side to side width, door panels open), 10' (closed)

CLEARANCE(approx.): length: 30 feet, height: 25 feet, width: 15 feet weight: 15k+)
1. Private parking area or
2. Street parking (at least 200 feet from food establishments & 500 feet from schools)

How do I get started?
Just call the restaurant at 213-626-0535 or send us an e-mail to info@sssmokehouse.com. We will get some basic event info from you and quote you a price ASAP.

How is payment made?
We require the event total to be paid prior to service. This payment is considered your deposit and serves to reserve the truck for your event. Your event is not considered reserved until the full payment is made.

We accept checks, credit card or cash. We need a minimum of 7 days to process a check or credit card. We will not accept check or credit card at the truck as we have no way to process either while onsite. Cash can be accepted at the truck, but a credit card must be on file as a deposit prior to the event.

What happens to my deposit if I cancel?
30 days prior to the event the full deposit will be refunded.
15-29 days prior to the event 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
0-15 days prior to the event the Smokehouse will retain the full deposit.
